MineCraft Server Status Update!

  Okay, today we had a power outage that (naturally) caused the MineCraft server to outrun the UPS and die.  As it expired without shutting down properly,

it is quite possible that corruption (to the MineCraft world) may (or may not) have occurred.  When you log in, please be aware that something as subtle as all of your lava may be missing, or perhaps something as un-subtle as your cathedral having been replaced by a glitch area (read: chasm) or some such.

  If we get too many reports of exotic strangeness, the Administrator may be forced to rebuild the world.  While this is not on the whole a "bad thing", it does mean that everybody gets to start over from scratch - right down to a random spawn point somewhere "out there".  That is why it is considered a "last resort", and is being avoided at all costs.

The object of this server is to be fun.  Sometimes it even works!
